COVID-19 Updates

← View All Posts

Our priority is to keep our customers and staff safe during this quarantine period due to COVID-19.  As a precaution the we have implemented some guidelines for all the Jeff Martin Auctioneers, Inc. locations across the country.

Effective immediately we will limit public access to all of our buildings and auction yards.  Our Brooklyn, Mississippi location will have buildings locked with a posting on the door with a phone number to call to gain access.  All people entering the building including staff will be required to sanitize hands and we will limit the number of customers inside to 3.  We will not allow more than 3 customers to actively load items on the auction yard at one time.   We will do what we can to assist in loading but our staff has been instructed to follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing and stay at least 6 feet away from another person.

These same rules will apply for our South Carolina location with the exception of the doors being locked.  However, this will be instituted after the online auction is completed this Thursday, March 26th.  Our auction site in Pelzer, South Carolina will be open for auction preview this week but we ask that you remain in your vehicle while viewing items that will be in the auction.  Again, we will limit how many customers are allowed on the auction site and in our buildings.

Effective Immediately our Kissimmee, Florida and Tupelo, Mississippi locations are closed and pickup is by appointment only.  You may call our office (1-844-450-6200) to make appointments.  Our locations in Stanton, Texas and Canton, Texas are closed but items can be dropped off for upcoming auctions.   There is no staff at these locations to assist with unloading.   You can make arrangements for dropping off items by calling our office as well.

In addition, we encourage all customers to pay outstanding invoices by mailing a check, paying by wire or pay by credit card on our website.  We ask that you avoid paying in cash and in person unless absolutely necessary.   We also ask if you are sick or know you have been exposed that you self-quarantine as directed by the CDC.

We know these are trying times for everyone and together we will all learn how to navigate the COVID-19 situation.  We appreciate your patience and understanding. All of this is being done in an effort to keep our customers and staff healthy and safe.

We now humbly ask that everyone pray for each other, our country and our leaders as they do all they can to preserve the public health and the American way of life.  Be kind, help each other for together there is no doubt we will overcome this and will be a better and stronger country that we have ever been.   Now go wash your hands!  God bless you all!
